Chasing Flowers Summer Tour

I'm excited to finally quit whining about everyone taking control of my life. Things have become sane once again. I've started to concentrate and keep to my plans to go on the road and support myself. I am going to go slow and steady and keep getting rid of stuff.
I'm going on a limited 2014 tour (sounds big and important huh?) I call "Chasing Flowers". Serenity will be just perfect to spend a few days here and there in while I paint on location. I sort of stole part of the name from a school friend's blog, Nicki' Chasing Pirates
Not a single flower to be found here in Ohio, I think a trip to a local greenhouse is in order tomorrow to set up to paint some of their flowers.

Way to go. Being in control of our own destiny is very important. I would think Ohio has a whole lot more snow than flowers right about now.

Jim and Sandie, snow has melted and it is a mess with mud now but I do see some bulbs are trying to make a break for the sunlight. Normal Ohio weather.

Cyndi and Stumpy, my supporters when I have been most down.

Ms Alice, I am delighted you want to use my picture on your book cover. I will finish my email to you later. I'm always bragging that Katrina Meyer gave me written permission to use her quote on my artwork "The day she let go of the things that were weighing her down, was the day she began to shine the brightest" We strong women take care of each other and help to hold each other up.

Happy trails,

You go, Girl!
It's a wonderful way to see "the world," meet new people, make new art, etc., etc. Will you be posting your blog posts on FB?
I will be following you ;)

Beth and Nicki, this is a challenge for me, to step out of my comfort zone. I'm very outgoing now, unlike when I was in school so many years ago. I am seriously considering selling my house within 2 years. This is my equilivalent of baby steps to see if what me dream is is what I want longer term.
Nicki, I will be blogging more. I'm not a natural writer but this seems to keep me connected and growing.
