Summer Leaves

Still not on the road, still working on the camper. I have been doing as much art and craft as I can slip in between other necessary things, like mowing the lawn. And controlling weeds. The camper now has a solar panel, just a trickle charger, battery and inverter. It isn't permanently installed yet, still in the testing stage. I will be able to boondock and at least have a little power.

I have doing a bit of art and a bit of crafts. I decided I wanted to learn to make concrete leaves earlier in the summer. Now I can't stop making them and they have been selling fairly well. Farmers markets have been kind to me but I think its time to enter them in some juried events.

Your leaves are gorgeous. And it's so good to have an update from you. Good luck with the solar.

Thanks guys. This is supposed to be a travel blog but I won't be able to travel far for several years. Its time for me to just be happy and carry on. I am about ready for my niece (who now lives with me) and I to go camping before her school begins next month. She's going in the 7th grade.

Just so you know - I follow several blogs that aren't travel blogs. I just want to keep in touch with folks and find out what is happening in their world. In fact, most of the folks that started out with travel blogs have slowed down on the travel part and only post a couple times a week. Travel is happening usually as they head north or south in spring and fall. So be sure to let us know how your niece is doing in school and especially your camping trip.

Those are concrete? They have a very airy, leafy look. Pretty!

Good Luck Duck, they are one of a kind made from leaves placed over, well, I better not say, the gnomes would be angered. The rest of the process is magical not found anywhere else in the world except my web sites and maybe on youtube tutorials. Good to see you back in the saddle and on etsy again.

Those are really nice leaves. Surprised they are made from concrete. Looks like you have a winner there. Glad you posted and hope you get to do some camping soon.
